Audience Theory. {reminder for myself}

I have decided that I am going to type out some things I learnt about audience theory, so when I come to further revising on things like this, I will be more clear on what I have learnt so I can re-cap over some things.

• Consume: To consume it basically means that you are taking in something and are making it apart of yourself.
• Indisputable: Indisputable means that you are certain about something; so you are beyond any doubt about something.
• Manipulated: To be manipulated by something it means that you are being controlled by something or in other cases someone, so you follow what they are telling you do to.
• Effects: The effects of something basically means that it is the result of an action-so for example, has it impacted anyone?

The effects theory!
In the effects theory otherwise known as the effects debate; It is about the idea of that media and how it changes some things that are happening, or didn't use to happen before but are happening now.
When we watch something, listen to something, are involved in something or are interacting with something. The text will effect you and the way that you think, the text will also shape our ideas and change how we think about somethings. When we are shown something or made to listen to something the ''text' will challenge the way we think about something, the ''text'' will try and make us act somewhat differently than we did before.
Sometimes, somethings alter the way we believe in something, it also alters our morality and our actions.
